Harvest Festival in Salzburg   Events in the Towns & Regions

From year to year, ever more visitors become enthusiastic fans of this truly glorious time of year.

Locals and visitors alike join one another in experiencing village and rural culture in its original form. An extensive Harvest Festival program awaits us all. Under the motto "Celebrate - Sample - Culture" there is sure to be something for everyone's taste. Reason enough to join the celebrations hosted between August 29 and October 26, 2009, at the communities within the Hohe Tauern National Park Holiday Region. 

The official Harvest Festival opening will be on August 29 in Uttendorf. 

With over 2,000 events between August 29 and October 26, 2009, focused squarely on folk customs and country handicrafts, more than 78 SalzburgerLand communities come together to celebrate Harvest Festival.
